Messrs 2KM have embarked on a completely new path in metering technology sector by developing the product line ProcessControlMix (PCM). This new product line differs from conventional machines with regard to power and efficiency as well as quality.
Besides a solvent-free operation, the system operation was made a lot easier, and the same applies to the handling of the material containers.
Operators can be assured of maximum process reliability as a result of our development and production of state-of-the-art computer systems for metering control, as well as decades of experience in all sectors of industry. The software can similarly be adapted to the specific requirements of individual companies (e.g. data transfer to a host computer, etc.), since 2KM in-house developments are once again used exclusively.

Material Heating and Feeding
The new liquid-heated feeding pumps for high viscosity adhesives are concepted in such a way that they may feed from a 20 litre pail as well as a standard 200 litre cover barrel. Another advantage of the liquid-heated pump is the reduction of material gripping to the system due to the direct tempering.
There is practically no agglomeration and incrustation of adhesive remains as is the case with unheated pumps. A 2-column pump lever facilitates the use of the 200 litre barrels. Moreover, a pump fitting into the bunghole of a standard 200 litre barrel may be obtained. This type of pump is used mainly in case of cold systems, as these have got no heating jacket.
Metering and Product Safety
Metering of the components is effected in the metering units mounted onto the feedings and is controlled by means of a powerful process computer, i.e. complicated adjustments at the metering valves can be done without. Filtering of the material, pressure control as well as a volume flow metering are compactly positioned onto the metering units. A particular output can also be preselected. Any faults are detected immediately and indicated. The free parametration of the tolerances guarantee the products' quality. All data can be logged on a logging printer with the date, time and consecutive numbering. This ensures that all machine processes are fully reproducible at all times.

Mixing Head
Rinsing with solvents can be done without, thanks to the new mixing head with disposable static mixer. This does not only save machine components and disposal costs, but also time, i.e. it means a major advance. To meter by means of traversing units, a disposable hose with an adapter may be coupled directly onto the static mixer.
Filling Level Control
Optionally the filling level control may be equipped with barrel scales or probes. The special advantage of the barrel scale is that it does not get in touch with the adhesive. Thus, it is easier to clean the system; come to that, deposits of air-hardening components from incrustations are avoided. Contact with the adhesive is consequently limited to only those parts in which this is unavoidable, such as the feeding pumps.
Colour Metering
Optionally there is the chance of additional metering of colours to colour the adhesive. This makes it possible to produce finished articles in translucent colours.
