The machine concept meters by means of a gear metering pump mounted onto a follower plate. It is possible to store low-viscosity materials in optional pressure vessels that can be fed to the metering pumps at a constant pressure. Control and adjustments of the gear metering pumps are made by means of frequency converters which guarantee a pre-determined mixing ratio that can automatically be adjusted as per specification requirements. In addition the gear pumps are controlled and monitored by analogue pressure sensors.
As an option, a floating follower plate technology can be installed using the material flows from an intermediate vessel. In this way material can be transported from a central feeding station. It is also possible to feed the base and hardener components from a central refilling station into intermediate vessels via leakage-free quick connect couplers.
