Clamping unit horizontal/vertical

For the production of insulators, cable joints, cable termination, surge arresters, T-Plugs etc.,

 

2KM manufactures clamping units, both in horizontal and vertical design.

These are standard clamping units with 4 columns and a mobile closing plate.

Different types and sizes are available or may be taylored to our customers’ specifications.
Clamping forces between 350 kN and 1,200 kN are standard.
Standard sizes:
Closing plate 700x650 mm 350 kN
Closing plate 900x800 mm 500 kN - 800 kN
Closing plate 1,050x1.050 mm 800 kN
Closing plate 1,400x1.200 mm 2x 500 kN
Closing plate 1,600x1.200 mm 2x 500 kN

4 different heating channels for different moulds are available.

In connection with our metering units:
SilcoStar 1950
SilcoStar 1950 HighFlow
PFM 6000
the control is made by the metering units’ host computer.

This central computer may control up to 6 clamping units.

Moreover, special units with SPS control are also available.
